Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences regarding the Eyak lake weir in Cordova, Alaska. This survey will be used, in part, to inform a feasibility study for replacing the existing failing weir and to assist in supporting the funding acquisition efforts to come.

Whether the weir is something you use for fishing, are a landowner on Eyak Lake or Eyak River, or are neither, we appreciate your honest feedback. We will not be using this information for any purpose other than to help us have a better idea of how Cordova residents are impacted by the current weir and what ways we may be able to secure a structure that maintains lake levels, supports fish passage, addresses community needs, and ultimately is a feature with high structural integrity and low maintenance costs.

If you would like to provide your name and contact information, there will be an opportunity for you to do so at the end of the survey. Otherwise, all information collected is anonymous.

More information about this project can be found at Copper River Watershed Project website; and the project contact can be reached at kate@copperriver.org.

Thank you again for your time – we appreciate your participation.
